MediData
Medical Reporting Platform for Developing Countries
Medidata is a system developed for rural communities in developing countries with limited technology access to provide better communication to hospitals and NGOs. Each community would send a daily report over text message so hospitals can gain better understanding of the medical needs in each village. Aggregating this data also allows for tracking disease outbreaks, and resource allocation. This project was developed in 36 hours at MHacks competition at the University of Michigan. It received an award for Best Use of MongoDB.
